Radhika Goel

ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Radhika Goel

Psychotherapist | MA, PACFA (she, her)

A lot of the people I work with are teenagers, young adults, or families trying to manage stress, big feelings, or changes in life. You might be figuring out who you are, juggling family expectations, or wanting support around neurodiversity. Sometimes it’s about coping with tough situations, and other times it’s about wanting to feel more confident and settled. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t need to explain or defend yourself — you can just be you.

I offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. With training in counselling, trauma-informed care, and ongoing study in Narrative therapy, I support young people, families, and multicultural clients to build resilience, heal from struggles, and feel more grounded.

Reaching out for support takes courage. Whether you’re feeling stuck, struggling with family or school, or just wanting to understand yourself better, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’d love to work with you to help make things feel lighter and more manageable.

Therapeutic Modalities Used

My approach draws on a range of evidence-based, experiential, and mindfulness-informed practices that integrate body, mind, and awareness. Each of these trainings has helped shape how I hold space — blending science, creativity, and depth psychology into the healing process.

Mind–Body and Somatic Approaches
  • Somatic EMDR Practitioner –
integrating body-based awareness with trauma processing

  • Neurofeedback Therapy –
supporting nervous-system regulation through brain-based feedback

  • Somatic Psychedelic Facilitation –
guiding the integration of expanded states of consciousness through embodied awareness

  • Mindfulness-Based Practice –
cultivating present-moment awareness, embodied attention, and compassionate curiosity within the therapeutic process

Expressive and Integrative Practices
  • Creative and Expressive Techniques (Art Therapy-informed) – using imagination and creative process as pathways to self-understanding

  • Parts Work (Internal Family Systems-informed) – cultivating self-leadership and harmony among inner parts

  • Narrative Practice –
helping clients re-author and re-interpret their lived stories

  • Feminist and Trauma-Informed Practice –
ensuring therapy remains inclusive, collaborative, and aware of context and power

  • Jungian-Informed Practice –
drawing on symbolic, archetypal, and imaginal perspectives to explore meaning, transformation, and the unconscious

Cognitive and Behavioural Frameworks
  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) – helping clients recognise and transform unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) – strengthening emotional regulation and distress-tolerance skills

  • Schema-Informed Practice – exploring core emotional themes and early life patterns with curiosity and compassion
